About the Role

Emergency Medical Responders are responsible for rapid triage, administering life-saving treatments, and coordinating with other emergency services. You'll need to be physically fit, mentally sharp, and possess excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of emergency medical procedures, a strong understanding of relevant healthcare laws, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions. Requirements

  • Possess a Valid and Current Red Cross First Responder certificate

  • Excellent writing and communication skills, french considered an asset

  • Be physically fit to work on your feet for extended periods of time and to be able to lift 100 pounds or more.

  • Possess an understanding of The Personal Health Information Protection Act of Ontario

  • Able to work in teams with a variety of skill levels
